I am deeply disturbed by this planned attack at a place of worship. My thoughts are with the South Asian community and all those affected by what could have been a horrific act of violence.
We must resist white supremacy in all of its forms and combat hate whenever we see it.
Absolutely horrifying. My heart is with the Hindu community in the wake of this news, and I'm grateful to the heroes at the Mount Prospect and Palatine Police Departments who helped prevent an unthinkable tragedy.
White supremacy and hate have no place in our nation.

Context matters. I was the DNC Associate Chair in 2018, and fundraising wasn't easy then either. It rises and falls throughout every election cycle.
Ken Martin and the DNC have also invested a historic amount in state parties, helping build the infrastructure that's already paying off in special elections, recruitment, voter protection and preparing for November.

My parents & members of my family worked in a small store on Canal St in NYC’s Chinatown for many years to raise me, my brothers & my cousins. I often slept in that store while my parents worked late & the counter by the cash register was often our dinner table for family meals.
Aggressive & reckless raids like this happening all across the country are crushing to see & even scarier than anything my parents endured because families like mine are being terrorized, torn apart, & seeing their American Dream being snatched away in an instant by masked men.
