18 years ago today - KENTA vs. Naomichi Marufuji I really felt determination of Marufuji and KENTA to carry NOAH on their backs. They almost sold out Nippon Budokan, which was hard to do then #ajpw #noah_ghc

10 years ago today - Go Shiozaki vs. Katsuyori Shibata STIFF! Even if you leave this match with only straight shots, it won't get any worse. It's a little scary how tough they approached this match #noah_ghc #njpw

32 years ago today - Steve Williams vs. Toshiaki Kawada One of the most important matches of Kawada career! He became Triple Crown Champion for the first time. And those slow-motion sequences… pure EPIC #ajpw

29 years ago today - Kenta Kobashi vs. Mitsuharu Misawa, Match of the Year by Tokyo Sports This match made Giant Baba cry. It was tears of pride for both pro-wrestlers. I think that's how Baba saw King's Road #ajpw

12 years ago today - Katsuhiko Nakajima vs. Naomichi Marufuji I still miss the name "Global League". I honestly think the fact that they had so few big matches together is a real missed opportunity. Their chemistry is unreal. #noah_ghc

The day Kenny Omega challenged Yota Tsuji was the most important day of his life. For me, it was Monday.

17 years ago today - KENTA vs. Ricky Marvin Is it possible to fit greatness into two minutes? It seems possible. Cagematch made an exception and allowed this match to be rated. That means something! #noah_ghc

"The breadth [of pro wrestling] is infinite. That’s what makes it interesting. For those who do it, it’s challenging. There’s no bottom. No endpoint... There’s no ceiling in pro-wrestling. That’s what makes it both difficult and interesting." — Mitsuharu Misawa

Giant Baba once said that the UWF roster seemed to believe that their Shooting was something beyond Pro Wrestling. He felt the opposite. That Pro Wrestling was a culmination of all martial arts, including Shooting itself. Suwama vs. Funaki is Babaism They walked the King's Road
