ALT Children participating in a junior parkrun event outdoors, with trees in the background. Overlaid text: "My son has a speech and language disorder and struggles with group sports. With junior parkrun, he takes part individually but is surrounded by other children. It’s good for his confidence and self-esteem."

Lots of communication, collaboration, team building and physical activity for #rpsdosbarth5 today. Diolch yn fawr iawn @MonLifeOfficial for running the Playmakers day 😊
It was so great to be at the playmakers conference today 😄 the children had a flavour of junior parkrun warm up, marshalling and making lots of noise to encourage the walkers and runners 😍 @parkrunUK

In 2021 at 84, my dad, Leo volunteered for the 1st time @Southportpkrun
In Feb 24 he volunteered his 127th and final time
He died 2 weeks later😢
He was an avid writer of thank you letters but didn't have the opportunity to thank parkrun...
