Help Nepal’s Flood-Affected Communities Rebuild
Right now, families across northern Nepal are picking through what’s left after flash floods and landslides tore through their villages. Homes are gone. Fields are buried under mud and debris. Children are sleeping without blankets, and mothers are boiling whatever rice they could save.
@binaytara has worked in Nepal since 2018 — through our health clinic, our country office, and our sister nonprofit, the Binaytara Cancer Trust. Our teams on the ground are Nepali staff who know these communities, and we’re already moving emergency supplies to the hardest-hit areas.
Your donation puts real things in real hands:
• Tents, tarps, blankets, and kitchen sets for families who lost their homes
• Hygiene kits, baby kits, and dignity kits for women and girls
• High-energy biscuits, rice, lentils, and cooking oil
• Essential medicines and wound care supplies
We’re a Platinum-rated nonprofit with Candid and hold a 4-star, 99% rating from Charity Navigator — every dollar is tracked, and every dollar goes to work.
This is a moment where a small gift makes an immediate difference. Please consider giving what you can today.

BREAKING: You paid for that MRI. You stayed still for 45 mins. But guess who owns the image? Not you.
We make the case for collaborative healthcare capitalism - where patients own their scans.

It’s going to be difficult in the coming weeks but I think clinicians should try hard to stay apolitical in the public sphere. We owe it to our patients.

Is the adoption of #Radiology #AI a "Field of Dreams" scenario? If you build it, will they come? 🤖💭
At #SIIM24, I hosted a panel with #Radiology #AI thought leaders, @RogueRad, @JCavallo972, & @EliotSiegel. They suggest that the widespread adoption of #AI in radiology may follow the path of #PACS systems. Similar to the transition from plain films to #PACS systems, practices are expected to embrace #AI due to the surge in imaging volumes and the shortage of #Radiologists. Despite the lack of reimbursements, the workflow efficiency gains, and workflow improvements are anticipated to yield a positive #ROI with the additional possibility of reimbursements in the future.
