During “education time/safe environment” our staff/providers are definitely willing to answer this question—“Where does it hurt?” It provides the foundation for our observations.
We often observe institutions and companies try to make changes thru more education (e.g. e-modules) Instead a far more effective tactic is designing a system that functions under various circumstances. People forget what they're taught. The system will work as designed.

Black boxes revolutionized safety in the airline industry. Now, we have our own in the operating room, capturing everything that happens during a procedure. Stanford Hospital is the first on the West Coast to install this technology, and I’m excited about its potential!

Teaching is no longer about standing at the front of the classroom—we engage by sitting next to or standing behind our learners.
The essence of making an idea clear requires a deep understanding not only of the idea but also of the person to whom one is explaining the idea.

What would you tell your younger self about time spent in university? Zelenskyy: What do you mean—I’m still young! Some soldiers will not have a long life but I wish you a long life studying in peace. @Stanford @FSIStanford

Zelenskyy: Give something to the world. Humans feel energy and happiness when they are needed. I’m joyous that I am needed and thus charged by my people. @Stanford @FSIStanford
Zelenskyy’s humor—a valuable leadership trait. Q: How does it feel to go from actor to president? A: Much better job. [perfect deadpan expression]. And attempting to answer an unclear question—“I guess the interpreter is working for Russia not Ukraine.”
