Next this, it's a walk through the whole history of philosophy/theology while presenting the worldview/thought of Fr. John Romanides, especially useful if you DON'T like him and want to make an accurate representation of his actual beliefs and not drive by internet strawmen.
Actually has several primary source letters detailing the progression of Fr. John's views on topics people give him flack over, especially the anti chalcedonian problem which is clearly laid out here.
Topics like nominalism, St. Augustines's place, apophaticism, etc.
Since Met. Hierotheos isn't writing a polemical work it's more even keel than you would get from Patristic Theology which is a set of university lecture transcripts that are explicitly polemical.

I was there Gandalf...
I was there at the Hagerstown, Maryland rally 2016 when "Crooked Hillary" was born...
You just had to be there at these primary rallies man it was a spectacle you couldn't believe, I feel bad for anyone who missed out.
The younger MAGA crowd probably doesn’t even remember this but I recall how in 2015/16, the rallies were much less professionally done and people got their asses beat at some of them, which also had to do because of how unorthodox Trump was with his campaign rhetoric
One of my friends at the time actually went to one and he noted how it felt more like a stand up routine than anything else but the crowd was completely drawn in
There will never be another like him

As an addendum to the second point.
The passion of lust in particular is inflamed dramatically when one feels pride over their "correctness" or, even more so, their virtues and luck.
When we become the Pharisee, the assaults of lust become overpowering and debilitating until you repent of your judgement against others. Triply so if you try and be too strictly about others' moral failures.
I can attest to this and St. Paisios's life shows it too.

"God knows you are lying once twice. three times, but no one could lie tens or hundreds of times unless he wanted that lie to become true. And this desire will make it so we will see the true Light one day, Even more, the deep part within us already sees the true Light. The Light can be seen somewhere within ourselves, but we are not there. And so, God says: "Dare and lie. but with the desire that it cease being a lie!" And this is not hypocrisy, but an exaggeration of our relationship with God in a liturgical manner. "

My spiritual father has a rule where if you speak poorly about your spouse/children to anyone except for him in confession you are barred from communion for a long while. Even if you're justified in doing so.
More would benefit from this restraint, especially online.

If people wonder what we mean by the expression "real Americans," here you go.
🚨 NEW: Kaylub Giamanco, the HERO father who TOOK OUT the Bend, Oregon elementary school shooter last week, tells the story for the first time
"I started hearing children PLEADING for their lives. And then I started hearing gunfire and I just started army crawling faster and faster. And I told myself, this is probably the last thing that I'm ever going to do."
"I have to go in. People are going to die."
"I crawled through the bottom window that was shot out and continued onto the rug inside where there's a little breezeway with stairs."
"And then the special needs classroom was to my left. At that point, I was on the ground on my hands and knees. I re-racked my weapon to make sure that a live round came so that I knew that I was ready to go."
"And then I peeked through the window. And at this point I found my opportunity. And I'd seen a teacher on the left struggling with the gunman on the right with the rifle."
"And I knew that they were on both sides of me, and I knew that he did not know that I was there. And so at that point I swung the door out and open and I stepped in and I fired."
This man deserves the Presidential Medal of FREEDOM! 🇺🇸

Thy Martyrs, O Lord, in their courageous contest for Thee received as the prize the crowns of incorruption and life from Thee, our immortal God.
For since they possessed Thy strength, they cast down the tyrants and wholly destroyed the demons' strengthless presumption.
O Christ God, by their prayers, save our souls, since Thou art merciful.

On the grounds of St George’s Greek Orthodox Church in Hammoud, innocent blood was shed, yet the faith and legacy of those who sacrificed their lives remain engraved in the conscience of all Orthodox Christians.
We commemorate our martyrs in our prayers and ask our God, who is risen from the dead, to grant rest to their souls among the Saints, to comfort us all, and to preserve Christianity in Jordan and in the whole world.
Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
