Man City's cheating crushed Aston Villa's dreams. This is how an enormous financial black hole is still costing Unai Emery to this day - and the star names that would be playing for them if not for City's chicanery trib.al/thEnosL

The basic concept of Unionism is to remain as part of the UK. That’s it. But we’ve seen in the last few weeks that for people like Bryson and Allister that has nothing to do with it, that it’s all about resurrecting the sectarian dominance that a majority empowered. But those days are gone!

Man City defence is identical to Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones, The Russian State Doping Scandal; Lance Armstrong "I am the most tested athlete on the planet, and I have never failed a drug test." "I simply worked harder, trained smarter, and wanted it more than anyone else." "The accusers are just bitter, unstable liars looking for a financial payday." "Look at all the immense good my cancer charity foundation is doing for the world." Marion Jones "My victories are purely the result of God-given biological gifts and superior running technique." "I have never tested positive for any banned substance, and my records are clean." "The testing process and the investigators are deeply flawed, incompetent, and biased." The Russian State Doping Scandal "This entire investigation is a politically motivated Western conspiracy to halt our sporting dominance." "The primary whistleblower is a rogue, mentally unstable criminal acting completely alone." "Our rivals are just jealous of our national pride, success, and medal counts."
Take a listen if you have a moment. He is not wrong is he.

Manchester City danced with their own notoriety at Anfield and embraced their shame. A club found guilty of cheating is prospering. It was another bad day for the English game dailymail.com/sport/football…

Jérémy Doku is a sensational talent. He cost Man City just £55m of the £900m they corruptly accrued in the "cheating years".

Sickening. Haaland asks for a red. Then he scores. The league has zero integrity at the moment. It's a farce

A grim week for Unionism: • A new Drumcree was bound to end in disaster. • Outsourcing leadership to Jamie Bryson has never ended well. • Neglecting the obvious issues with the News Letter risks losing that key voice. All overseen by a thoroughly impotent elected Unionism.

The more you read about Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the more you realise he can’t carry on as City chairman if PL is to maintain integrity Wholly unsurprising that he tried this - and yet still shocking that he did - via @FT This is why nation states can’t own football clubs

Interesting this as if you tried to name the list of aggrieved clubs, you’d probably end up with Blackpool towards the back end but clearly the depth of anger is there. So many up and down the country will clearly feel just as frustrated, whether they make it this public or not.
"Get lost! How dare you ruin what's part of our country, our DNA in this country." Ian Holloway had some very strong words when asked about the Man City charges.

Breaking news that Andy Burnham oversaw a £55m taxpayer loan linked to Man City’s owners. He’s clearly compromised and must come clean on all his financial links to the club’s owners. English football fans deserve so much better than this sorry mess. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

This is a very good explanation, I don't know how City's owners get out of this mess.

I’d urge you to read this. Nick, through the most difficult circumstances you could imagine, consistently and persistently shone a light on things that were wrong at Manchester City. He’s an outstanding journalist and man. The abuse he received for doing his job was revolting.
The human cost of reporting on Man City’s cheating for 15 years. It’s on the Mail website today and will be in the MoS paper tomorrow (Sunday) but they backed my reporting 100%. That reporting continues on my Substack. Google it for details. dailymail.com/sport/football…

If you support our owners doing stuff like this, just because you want to see city win a few more trophies then you are literally so far gone you can't be helped.
BREAKING: The UAE is warning British Prime Minister Andy Burnham it will pull billions of pounds of investment the Government was seeking for a hi-tech hub between Oxford and Cambridge, billed as the UK’s answer to Silicon Valley, in retaliation for the guilty verdict against #ManCity. "The decisive ally to both of the clubs was the man whose job should have committed him to complete neutrality: UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino. The Football Leaks documents show just how unconscionably the top functionary sided with the newly wealthy clubs, both of which didn't just violate the Financial Fair Play rules. They held them in contempt. During the FFP proceedings, Infantino met with club bosses from Paris and Manchester on several occasions for secret talks, even supplying them with confidential materials. He proposed compromises that he was unauthorized to propose. In short: He betrayed his own organization." spiegel.de/international/wor…

The stupidest thing is how transparent the cheating was. Man City were averaging £600m more in commercial income than Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the decade to 2020. It was stark raving obvious that those numbers could not be real for City’s global scale at that time.
