#OTD 1941: Over 33,000 #Jews were murdered at the #BabiYar ravine near of Kiev. They made the Jews wait in the meadow, where they could hear the sound of machine gun fire. For over 36 hours, Germans took small groups, stripped them, and shot them. #BabiYarMassacre #JewishHistory

Be Case Keenum. > Grow up in West Texas. Two-star recruit. One scholarship offer. > Take it. Rewrite the NCAA record book at Houston. > Marry your high school sweetheart, the girl you took out for snow cones before any of this started. > Go undrafted anyway. > Spend your rookie season on the practice squad. > Get cut. Get claimed. Get traded. Start over. > Get your chance in Minnesota when the starter gets hurt. > Throw the Minneapolis Miracle. > Help take the Vikings within one win of the Super Bowl. > Keep moving after that, too. > Eight franchises. Different jerseys. Different playbooks. Another chance to prove you belong. > Through all those moves, keep building a life with the girl. > The girl from the snow-cone date becomes the mother of your two children. > Spend years preparing for opportunities that rarely come. > Go 1,009 days without a start. > Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Stay ready. > Then, at 38, get the call. Chicago needs you. > Walk onto Monday Night Football. > Throw two touchdowns. Run for another. Beat the Eagles 27–7. > Do it with both your kids watching you play in person for the first time. > Finish the night on SportsCenter with your little girl beside you. All those years. All those moves. All those Sundays waiting for a chance. And when this one finally comes, you fucking crush it with your kids looking on. Imagine what that feels like. There are a lot of ways to teach your children to keep going. Letting them watch you do it has to be one of the best. Absolute legend! 🫡

Uh @GetSpectrum why can I not log into my account, and what does Cox have to do with it? Hard to pay a bill online when I can't get logged in? 🤷‍♂️

How can you not be romantic about baseball? Congrats JV, One of The All Time Greats To Play This Game! What a great moment for him and his little girl. Pretty sure this moment wasn't a thought that first day of Little League. @JustinVerlander @tigers @MLB

I see the refs are up to their old tricks again in helping @UMichFootball. Terrible PI call. Embarrassingly terrible. @UTEPFB @BigTenNetwork

Hey @taylorswift13 & @TomCruise - you don't have to answer, but @mrsrigdon & I were curious as to what you two were talking about during the 1st qtr of the game tonight. The topic seemed very serious! 😐 Hope you're enjoying the game! 😁

25 years. It’s hard to believe a quarter century has passed since September 11, 2001. I was a student at SEMO when the attacks happened, and some of these first images are newspaper pages I saved from Cape Girardeau in those days immediately afterward. I don’t think any of us who lived through that day will ever forget where we were, what we were doing, or the feeling of watching something unfold that we knew would change our country forever. Over the years, I’ve had several opportunities to visit New York, and each trip has given me a different memory of that skyline and that city. In 2003, I stood at Ground Zero, when the wounds of September 11 still felt incredibly fresh. I returned in 2010 and 2011, looking out across a skyline where the Twin Towers once stood. I’ve looked at Manhattan from inside the crown of the Statue of Liberty. And in 2019, I got to experience New York with my family, making memories with my girls in a city that, nearly two decades after the attacks, was still unmistakably New York. Some of these memories are solemn. Some are reflective. Others are full of life and laughter. And I think there’s something fitting about sharing all of them. Because remembering September 11 isn’t only about remembering the unimaginable loss of that morning. It’s remembering the people who ran toward danger to help others. It’s remembering the way Americans came together afterward. And it’s remembering that the city they tried to break kept living, rebuilding, laughing, singing and welcoming millions of people from around the world. The skyline changed forever that morning. So did America. 25 years later, we remember the 2,977 lives taken that day, their families, the first responders, and everyone whose life was forever changed. We remember what was lost. And we remember the spirit that endured. September 11, 2001 🇺🇸 #NeverForget

Michigan fans charging the field because they just beat #WesternMichigan on a "'last second play" is an embarrassment to @UMichFootball! @WMU_Football won that game, there was zero seconds on the clock and the refs made sure to give MI one more chance. @NCAA pathetic.

What just happened to Western Michigan is an absolute travesty! @Michigan lost that game and the powers that be gave them another shot. What a joke @NCAA
