I thought Micky was excellent on Saturday and he was really leading from the front with his bravery on the ball and these passes.
One of many in #THFC squad suddenly looking much more comfortable on the ball - the De Zerbi effect!

Tears in my eyes man, i remember when he was always close to tearing his hamstring every sprint under Ange’s Suicidal highline 😭🫂

Makes me laugh that De Zerbi was probably just showing @Roncomps to half our squad
Incredible
(🥇) 🚨 NEW: One senior source at #thfc raised Roberto De Zerbi for giving out-of-favour midfielder Conor Gallagher a “new lease of life.” 🏴💪
Another source described his coaching as “first class.”
🎙️ Gallagher: “He completely turned around the start of my Spurs career. It was obviously really tough for me, and the whole team. But I was in and out of the team, no confidence, didn’t feel great physically and then he came in and showed belief and gave my confidence back.
“I was able to do what I do best on the pitch. I’ve really enjoyed the last seven games with the new gaffer.
“One of the YouTube videos was titled ‘Bossing the midfield - Conor Gallagher’, or something like that. It’s funny because I’ve seen that before and he’s just there showing me in this meeting room.
“I think he did that with a few of the other lads. But that was one of his many ways to get players’ confidence back and it helped me. He’s been so good for me.”

Best game from Odobert from the start.
Quick, explosive, and direct, not as lightweight as he seems, he can ride contact quite well.
The only problem I have with him is the fact that he hides in certain games and you forget he's even playing.
He surely gained confidence after yesterday's game. Hopefully he can use that to perform at a similar level vs Burnley.
