We had an amazing Roots of Empathy visit💕 @RootsofEmpathy @CorpusOCSB This week students learned about preparing for an outing with baby- we even looked inside my diaper bag!
We learned that caring for a baby involves routines - bedtime, bathing, feeding and changing 💕

🌳 Roots of Empathy at Loreburn Primary School, Dumfries.
👶 We had a great first family visit with our Tiny Teacher Bennett and his mum, Lauren.
👶 We made lots of predictions on what we thought a 13 week old baby could do and what they might not manage yet.

We are off to a great start with our @RootsofEmpathy programme this year. Our pupils loved meeting their Tiny Teacher for the year ahead. We measured, sang songs, played and found out what a baby can do when they are only 2 months old. We can’t wait for the next visit!

@Bell_LetsTalk is leading the way in promoting mental health and encouraging conversations that make a difference.
At Roots of Empathy, we share this commitment by nurturing empathic listening and creating spaces where children feel safe to express their feelings. These early conversations are transformative—helping children build the confidence to talk about their emotions and laying the foundation for lifelong mental health and wellbeing.
So let’s keep talking, listening, and connecting 💚
