Republicans in Texas, you don't get to celebrate the 4th of July today. Your state party voted to secede from the U.S. less than a month ago. You can't side with a party that wants to leave the country and then turn around and the wave the flag and set off fireworks.

Because make no mistake, to take the right to control our own bodies is evil. It is horrifyingly evil. To force someone to carry a fetus that is incompatible with life. To force a 13-year-old to carry a rapist's baby. To force someone remain pregnant when suicidal. Evil.
