It never rains on the Marching Hundred. We were honored to be a part of the 137th @RoseParade on New Year’s Day. It was great to see all of the Hoosiers in the stands along Colorado Blvd! 📸: @MalikeyD #NeverDaunted #RoseBowl #RoseParade

Excited to announce that I have been selected as the Grand Marshal of the 2025 Rose Parade to usher in the new year! It is such an honor to serve in this role for the 136th Rose Parade, and to participate in the pre-game ceremony at the Rose Bowl Game. I'm truly thrilled to be part of the Tournament of Roses family.  Best Day Ever!

In 1964, to mark 100 years since Montana became a territory, they created an all-state band that went to the @RoseParade. It apparently went well and they printed albums including a recording of the broadcast, hosted by 50s TV personality Arthur Godfrey… and Betty White! #MTNews

What a way to kick off 2023! It’s an honor to be the @RoseParade Grand Marshal. This year’s theme, “turning the corner” resonates deeply with me. I’ve tried to embody the philosophy of moving ahead in both my own recovery & in my life’s work to end gun violence.

I'm so excited to be Grand Marshal of the 2023 @RoseParade tomorrow! I’ll be in the parade in the morning alongside marching bands, floats, and horses. Then there's the bowl game later that day where I'll toss the coin. I'm already looking forward to the new year!

A fun piece of @RoseParade history -- after the 1942 parade was cancelled due to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Rose Queen was renamed the Victory Queen and put in charge of a nationwide war bond fundraiser 🌹🪖 pasadenastarnews.com/2022/12…

How Pearl Harbor turned a 1942 Rose Queen to a Victory Queen

The parade was canceled, but Queen Dolores Brubach took on a greater role raising war bonds.

50 years ago today, First Lady Pat Nixon participated in the @RoseParade as a Guest of Honor of her alma mater @USC. This was a homecoming for Mrs. Nixon, an alumna who grew-up in Artesia, just twenty miles outside of Los Angeles.
