What were you thinking BBC? Covering a massively traumatic and recent event for a Christmas episode! I love #DoctorWho but you left me distraught and in tears on Christmas day. It was clumsy and unnecessary. I feel sad and disappointed when I was looking for Joy!
All the best to everyone at #dddsw @dddsouthwest for tomorrow. Unfortunately this is going to be the first one ever that I miss. Hope you all have a great time, see you next year.
It's ridiculous how much I enjoy going on the train to London for a team meeting. WFH with a team meeting every 6 weeks is perfect.
What a great evening at @dotnetsouthwest, 4 brilliant speakers, lots of new inspiration, brilliant sponsors and brilliant organisers.
Congratulations on your 100th meetup!
Get your tickets now.
I'll be speaking about Blazor development using Fluxor in the last session of the day.
📢 Our schedule is now live AND tickets are available! 🎉

Speakers and sponsors - you don't need to register unless you're using the train discount ☺
I had a few hours spare on the train yesterday so I started a pocketDDD Blazor (with Fluxor) implementation:

Early days, but happy so far. Hopefully will complete it in time for #dddsw next month.
Will also be the focus of my session (if picked).
Choosing just 8 was difficult! So many good sessions this year.
Session voting is open! Let us know which talks you'd like to see this year 🙌 lnkd.in/d-7ymg_e

This month instead of our last live event, we have one of two recordings - First @RossDScott talks about #Blazor - beyond demo code, where he's go from idea through to a working app he built during lockdown

Eyes peeled for #2 dropping soon! 👀💻
Off to London to meet my team IRL for the first time. Love working from home but also excited to be meeting people I talk to everyday on teams.
A heart that works is a beautiful and gut wrenchingly sad autobiography by @robdelaney
I don't cry, but spontaneously did on multiple occasions whilst listening to his narration.
Thank you ❤️
Just signed up and really looking forward to this.
Totally outside of my comfort zone, so need to do it!
For those that missed it - at @dotnetoxford this month, we're doing something a bit different! We're going to try a mini hackathon! It's virtual, so feel free to join from anywhere. More information will be posted very soon! meetup.com/dotnetoxford/even…
Thanks @dracan for your devpick of Fluxor in the #UnhandledExceptionPodcast
I'm currently working on my first Blazor POC, so this comes at the perfect time.
Not a fan of the boilerplate code in Redux, so this looks like a great solution.
Now to create my next POC...
Is it appropriate in #Blazor to build up RenderFragments in a similar way to the jsx approach? Keeps the main HTML a bit tidier.
Obvs separate comp for anything big or reusable.
Also what about putting them in a separate code block?
Am I defiling Blazor? @chris_sainty
I'll be applying for jobs and interviewing soon. When asked "how do you keep up with technology?", my top answer will be the #UnhandledExceptionPodcast by @dracan.
It's the perfect lunchtime walk companion.
