Howie Roseman on Keyshawn James-Newby: "He can rush. I think when you turn on the tape and you see him in must-pass situations, he can get off the ball, he can bend, he's got production as a rusher. Obviously, you're looking for traits late in the draft. That's one of the reasons we wanted to get picks there, we had a bunch of guys we wanted to take."

The #Eagles landed an explosive perimeter speed rusher in Keyshawn James-Newby.
He averaged over a TFL per game in his D1 college career (36 TFLs in 31 starts) along with 24 sacks and 4 forced fumbles.
Started his career at Montana Tech, and is a still ascending edge rusher.
Had a great week at the @ShrineBowl and showcased his range, potential LB versatility, and immediate speed rush upside for the #Eagles

➕ 74 pressures in 2025 (Elite)
➕ 37.5% pass rush win rate
(3rd in class behind Bain Je and Bailey)
➕ Deep pass rush arsenal (cross chop, swipe, speed-to-counter)
➕ Explosive first step with verified 4.53
➕ Relentless motor creates constant disruption
➖ Run defense limits early down role
➖ 28.8% missed tackle rate
➖ Competition level requires projection
💥 Splash Plays:
45+ Impact Plays (Sacks + TFL + QB Hits est.)
James-Newby is one of the most productive pass rushers in the class when you look strictly at the numbers. The pressure volume and win rate both point to a player who consistently disrupts the pocket. He is not an every down player right now, but as a pass rush specialist he brings immediate value. High upside Day 3 bet with real juice.

New Giants DT Sam Roberts had 18 tackles on 102 snaps last year, 61 of those were on run plays. Here's some of his best plays against the run and tackles from 2025. Does a decent job at bench pressing and getting extension on lineman

The #Giants are signing DT Sam Roberts to a one-year deal, per his agent @RossMikeJones. Former 6th-rd pick of the #Patriots appeared in five games and registered his first career sack with the #Falcons this past season after Atlanta signed him off the #Panthers’ practice said.

#NewMexico EDGE Keyshawn James-Newby with the rush here; his ability to corner and accelerate late to close on the QB set himself apart from others at the event

New Mexico EDGE Keyshawn James-Newby is more than just a pass-rusher! On this rep he splits the inline blocker and gets into the backfield for a would-be TFL in live reps. #ShrineBowl
