The Liberal Democrats, with 72 MPs, will push to scrap this limit and lift millions out of poverty.

@LibDems are fighting for a fair deal.
Our top priorities are building an economy to be proud of, protecting our environment, and supporting the most vulnerable.
Locally that means delivering sound finances for our Councils so they can deliver for you.

There is a deep injustice that large corporations are raking in enormous profits, while this Conservative Government are doing nothing to stop them pumping sewage into the waterways that we value so dearly in Cumbria and elsewhere.

Fallen tree across footpath 23 (the one between Station New Road and Sales Avenue).
It has been reported to DCC (Ref No FS-Case-495441720); but, understandably, it may take a little longer than normal for them to deal with it. So please be careful if walking that way.

Tupton Parish Council’s contractor has been clearing and gritting areas around housing specifically allocated for our more vulnerable residents; and around the shops this morning.
Obviously more snow is expected into tomorrow so please be careful and keep a check on neighbours.

A huge thank you to Tupton Community Group, Handby's Catering and Tupton Village Hall for a fantastic evening’s entertainment.
A mixture of racing, stand-up bingo and music made a great family evening out and raised around £300 towards the summer gala. Great work 👏🏼
