It was a great pleasure to welcome back
so many ex pupils to our Alumnae Garden Party. Pupils from 1945 to 2018 enjoyed catching up and sharing stories over afternoon tea and tours of the school as it is today. Wonderful to see you all again!

Former pupils from 1953 to 2013 came to @KHSWarwick this weekend to celebrate their decade reunions. Splendid weather, lots of memories shared, and a chance to tour the school.

Former Warwick School Olympians include Head Boy AGK Brown (WS 1924-34), who won gold for GB in the men’s 4x400m relay at the 1936 Summer Olympics. It was Britain’s only track gold of the games. Brown also won silver in the individual 400m. Pictured @WarwickSchool in 1933.

It was a huge privilege to receive a cheque from @WPSA10 last week for £25,000, which completes their ambitious pledge to raise £50,000 in support of our new playspaces. Thank you to everyone who has supported this fantastic fundraising effort!

The 2021 census has prompted investigation into the @WarwickSchool archives to see who was living at the school 130 years ago, at the time of the 1891 census. More importantly, it has evoked the question, where did they all live? Read more at oldwarwickians.org/1891censu….

Great to see OWs at our new online events last week. Live Zoom sessions included meeting the Foundation Principal, readings from The Master’s Books 1881-1906 and a Young OWs Catch-up with JJ. The week culminated in a pilot online coffee morning for OWs from the 1960s.
We have two alumni coffee mornings today for @KHSWarwick and @warwickschool. Hope we’ve all got our croissants and bacon rolls at the ready!
