Volunteering day, a few meadow mushrooms dotted around on the reserve and some small coppers still fluttering around. Fox, sparrowhawk, kestrel, red kites, lizard, good day for spotting some of the wildlife we spend our day creating a habitat for. @RowantNNR

I spent a few hours mid afternoon today at Aston Rowant NR, Oxon. Good numbers of Silver-spotted Skippers and Chalkhill Blues, plus several Adonis Blues.

Very enjoyable day in the Chilterns with @RowantNNR staff and volunteers. Highlights were Military Orchid, and the best view I've ever had of a Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk.
