This is so true. Totally agree! Additionally, the absence of crossover raises the bar for obtaining informed consent, both for patients and investigators.
“If PFS is the primary endpoint, why isn't crossover allowed?” I haven't heard a more justified complaint from an oncologist in a long time. Dr. Benjamin Besse💯👏👏 #ESMO26

A much larger difference than anticipated! #ESMO26
Two highly anticipated studies will be presented at today's Presidential Symposium #ESMO26 ① KRASCENDO-1: Results from a head-to-head trial comparing two KRAS inhibitors in patients with KRAS G12C-mutated NSCLC

Is sotorasib becoming the crizotinib eventually superseded by a newer inhibitor, just as alectinib replaced crizotinib in ALK-positive NSCLC..? Thank you sotorasib, for the past. All glory to divarasib, the future!

Presented at #ESMO26: In patients with previously treated advanced non–small-cell lung cancer with a 𝘒𝘙𝘈𝘚 G12C mutation, median progression-free survival was 9.8 months with the KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib and 5.7 months with sotorasib or adagrasib. Although challenges remain in how best to identify MET alterations, this looks like a highly promising treatment option following progression on osimertinib! #ESMO26
Replying to @Rtsugitom
②SAFFRON: Osimertinib + savolitinib vs. platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with EGFR-mutated, MET-overexpressed or MET-amplified NSCLC following progression on osimertinib

Are we heading back to the days when we were desperately chasing T790M through repeat biopsies..? But perhaps that's how it should be.

Presented at #ESMO26: In patients with 𝘌𝘎𝘍𝘙-mutated and MET-altered non–small-cell lung cancer that had progressed during osimertinib therapy, osimertinib plus savolitinib (a MET tyrosine kinase inhibitor) led to longer survival than platinum–pemetrexed. Full phase 3 SAFFRON trial results: nej.md/4hXdueb @myESMO

Presented at #ESMO26: Among patients with PD-L1–negative advanced nonsquamous non–small-cell lung cancer, progression-free survival was longer with sacituzumab tirumotecan plus pembrolizumab than with chemotherapy plus pembrolizumab (15.0 vs. 5.7 months). Full phase 3 OptiTROP-Lung06 trial results: nej.md/4Bo3liu @myESMO

The subgroup analyses by PD-L1 TPS category also provide valuable insights! #ESMO26
Impressive results! Even in patients with high PD-L1 expression (TPS ≥50%), the addition of chemotherapy prolonged PFS! Congratulations on the publication as well! annalsofoncology.org/article… #ESMO26
