The new trailer for Resident Evil Requiem shows a mysterious woman who helps Leon S. Kennedy. We hear her voice and see her sitting at a monitor. Who do you think she actually is? Here are our theories: ▪️ Ashley Graham - After her ordeal in Resident Evil 4, Ashley decided to join the DSO to help others and serve the US, just like her father. The creators might have subtly hinted at this idea by adding a conversation between Leon and Ashley in the Resident Evil 4 Remake: Ashley: You know, I was thinking we work well together, dont we? Leon: I guess so Ashley: Right!? Maybe someday, I'll become an agent like you?What do you think? This would be an incredible connection to Leon's past mission. Plus, Ashley could finally uncover the truth behind the US government. ▪️ Rebecca Chambers - As some may have noticed, Leon seems to be struggling with an infection from a new virus variant. There is a trace of necrosis on his neck, and he is wearing gloves, which suggests similar marks might be on his hands. Who could help Leon? Rebecca Chambers, of course. As an experienced doctor and virologist, Rebecca has saved heroes multiple times by creating vaccines for various viruses. She is the only person we know capable of handling a new strain. Seeing Rebecca in Resident Evil Requiem would also be an amazing lead-in to a potential Resident Evil 0 Remake. Rebecca is highly experienced, and in Resident Evil: Death Island, she saved Leon’s life. She is also strictly connected to Raccoon City, where her career began. ▪️ Sherry Birkin - She works for the DSO and has known Leon for many years. However, in our opinion, DSO leadership wouldn't put her in a "handler" role (behind a microphone), as her abilities are too impressive. Do you really think there wouldn't be a field mission for someone who can regenerate from any serious wound? The answer seems obvious. Still, it would be amazing to see Sherry work with Leon again in the city that is so painful yet significant to her. As a child, she likely heard many of Umbrella's secrets from her parents. ▪️ Ingrid Hunnigan - We wondered why Capcom would change her voice actor. Also, the fact that Ingrid would remain in the same position for so many years without a promotion doesn't sit right with us.
