Fantastic production of Dancing at Lughnasa at the Gate Theatre, it’s a true Irish classic and is brought to life by a brilliant cast 👏🏻
Nice to see Dublin through visitor eyes, been showing a friend round it, Dublin gets bad press but we forget how great our coastline is, & although not everyone cares, one of the greatest pieces of art ever, Ulysses, is all about Dublin & my friend was keen to experience this !
A very cultural couple of days, Christmas IFI showing of the Capra classic It’s a Wonderful Life, Hozier at the 3 Arena and The Quare Fellow at the Abbey theatre tonight
Hectic weekend in Brussels at the Eurocross so we didn’t get to see as much of it as planned, didn’t even get to the Christmas markets but must go back
3 weeks of free in-person (in Dublin) and online history events, check out the fab Dublin festival of history. Kudos Dublin City council, Dublin Public Libraries. went to 3 free events in Dublin Castle yesterday culminating in the fascinating’Twilight Cities’ talk #histfest2023
