I'll still be on *here* probably, but I did open an account on bsky.
Feel free to add me there!

It was peaceful for that one week I wasn't bombarded with the "Dodgers are ruining baseball" posts.
Now I'm getting spammed with the "Lakers are ruining basketball" now lmao.
One thing I'm left flabbergasted by from the Lakers/Jazz game.
Does Will Hardy hate calling timeouts? Felt like he just sat there on the bench in some silent protest. Felt like I was watching Darvin Pockets out there again letting the other team go on a run uncontested lmao.
That said, the TOs are a killer.
Teams are gonna continue to sell out to blitz AR + Luka. The other Lakers need to get better about flashing open to jump start the 4v3 advantage. AR/Luka also need to stop forcing passes.
Honestly, LA may need to close games w/ Sexton out there.
Lakers are 2-0!
Wasn't the cleanest night on offense, but Luka/AR got enough of theirs and generated lots of good looks at the rim and beyond the arc. Matisse was great on the C&S tonight.
Kessler lived at the rim on both ends. As a playfinisher on O, and big time blocker on D.
Yaxel actually defended Luka pretty well. But Luka also got in his head and baited him into some silly fouls and the tech.
Regardless, I fully expect Luka to drop a 50 on him the next time they play.
If you couldn't see how Walker Kessler would thrive next to a superstar P&R playmaker in Luka Doncic, you're either being a genuine dumbass or a cynic/contrarian.
Either way, you shouldn't be covering basketball for a living. Jfc.
I think tonight was more "Warriors are ass" than "Lakers are contenders!!11!" but there is plenty to like about tonight even without Sexton, Carr, and Thiero.
The defensive effort and weapons are there. Kessler is an anchor on both ends. And the offensive depth is very real.
Alright JJ. That's what happens when you don't empty the bench right away in a blowout. Guys can get hurt.
You're seeing flashes of what the Lakers defense could be.
Steph gets the ball in the corner, then Williams bodies him up. Kessler comes over for the extra pressure / trap. Steph makes a poor crosscourt pass under duress, which leads right into a transition opportunity for LA.
