Sorry to have missed this! Such a fascinating topic - especially as we look to hybrid and online platforms. Thanks for sparking the dialogue.

Due to my general role as roving storyteller and rural arts manager, I have the opportunity to hop on the radio once in awhile. Radio is one of my favorite media. Great reach, great fun. #ruralaw

BOOOO!!! Of course this attack on arts funding would happen when so many of us are in the midst of summer stock. Ok - let's #SAVEtheNEA in unison!!!! #ruralaw @RuralArtsWeekly #ruralarts teapawt.net/americans4arts/status/…
Despite bipartisan support for funding @NEAarts & @NEHgov, a new budget amendment seeks to cut 15% funding from each agency. Take two minutes now to #SAVEtheNEA—contact your Rep & ask them to vote NO on the Grothman amendment. More info: bit.ly/2Js4J8t

I wrote an editorial about this when it first came up: dakotafire.net/article/edito… I’m not sure why it has to be either/or.

I love the train. I used to take in L.A. going to Seattle. There isn't one from Montana to L.A. though. The bus can be a bit much - but I've done it a lot and have some great stories. I just sit back and listen. The sense of community that quickly develops is palpable.
