We are really proud to have received a Sea Cadets' Pennant for 2021 and a commendation from Captain Sea Cadets, for upholding the values and traditions of the Corps and providing outstanding training and leadership for cadets and volunteers. 🤩🏅

Today is International Women's Day, so we are celebrating the role of women and girls in our amazing and diverse organisation. We are proud to be able to say that at Rushden Sea Cadets, women and girls account for more than 40% of the staff, cadets and trustees! 🙏

Great to see the younger generation getting involved and remembering the fallen past and present. – at Kettering, England
We were so proud of our cadets today - they looked so smart at the Remembrance Sunday Parade in Rushden #LestWeForget @SeaCadetsUK @rushdencouncil
Thank you to everyone that visited our #PoppyAppeal stall at Asda yesterday - the kindness and generosity of the people of Rushden never ceases to amaze. #LestWeForget @RushdenReporter @britishlegion @SeaCadetsUK
A massive shout out to all our Cadets involved in today's Soap Box Derby in Rushden Hall Park 👏. Both teams did amazing well, showing real determination to win, but huge congratulations to our Juniors who won the Mayor's Soap Box Spirit Award Submarine kart 🥳.
We're so proud of our new Junior Cadets. Having successfully completed their pre-boating swimming test on a gorgeous evening at the lake, they can now enjoy a summer of boating activities including sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. Huge congratulations to them all 🤩
It's not just our cadets that learn new skills! This weekend some of our adult volunteers have been out on the water, practicing their paddlesport techniques. #LevelUp #Upskilling #HavingFunOnTheWater
Today marks the 165th birthday for @SeaCadetsUK. On 25 June 1856, the Naval Lads’ Brigade was founded which was the precursor to what would eventually become the Sea Cadets. Happy birthday! 🎉
Tonight our Cadets enjoyed a beautiful evening on the lake during their introduction to rowing, delivered by Able Cadets Robert and Jess - well done to all. What a great way to spend the school half-term holiday! 😎
Tonight we were so excited to be able to launch our new Junior Section, allowing us to take cadets from the age of 9 years old. They had so much fun building mini-rafts and we were really pleased to see that every one of them passed the float test 👏
This week is #VolunteersWeek2021 and so we'd just like to say a huge thank you to our team for the outstanding work they do at Rushden Sea Cadets. If you'd be interested in joining us and helping inspire local youngsters, we'd love to hear from you.
What better way to enjoy the great weather than by getting out on the water and having fun with your mates! Our cadets are now learning to row, sail, paddle and windsurf - what a great way to spend the summer!
Today is our Unit's 7th birthday, having become an independent Unit in 2014, but it's a double celebration this year because we've just been accepted by the Charities Commission as a fully registered charity - ref no 1194526. This is great news as we continue to thrive and grow🎉
We're so proud of our cadets this evening. Despite the awful weather conditions, they all successfully completed their pre-boating swimming test in the lake. Huge congratulations to them all - they can now enjoy a summer of boating activities 🤩
#OlympicChallenge update: Yay! What more can we say - 14 weeks ago we left Rushden to embark on an 8,900 mile journey across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. This morning we finally arrived at our destination of Tokyo - a full 2-months early. What a fantastic team effort 🎉🥇
#OlympicChallenge update: It's week 13 of our virtual challenge and our team of cadets, volunteers and supporters have just arrived in Busan, South Korea having covered an amazing 528 miles this week. Please take a moment to sponsor them if you can: justgiving.com/cro.../rushde…
