The narrative that Luka is a terrible defender is simply false. People still judge him off the 2024 Finals, when he was playing through multiple lower-body injuries. Since then, he’s been average to slightly above average defensively. Positive defensive impact and 8th in activity among 29 perimeter players. He’s not an elite defender, but that doesn’t make him a liability.
