To ask teachers to be on the front line of mass shootings, the front line of a pandemic, and the front line of the struggle against inequality all while underpaying them and systematically underfunding the education system is both cruel and a recipe for societal collapse.

one very gaslight-y thing about working in the US is that a mass shooting happens and you are expected to sort of just go on with your workday. in other places there'd be a national crisis with a period of mourning. not here. get to work.

THIS IS A FAKE VENMO.

We need Malik to help document this moment in the city. The humanity and emotion in (and behind) his lens is so unique. The way he captures moments for us to revisit without losing a speck of realism is such a gift.
Please help him find where he should be today.

While we are extremely grateful for the support we’ve been getting, we understand that other media outlets in Ukraine have been less lucky.
That’s why our partners launched a new global fundraising campaign to help independent Ukrainian media.

We run our kitchens without ego and aim to minimize stress whenever possible. We have a small, passionate crew and if that sounds appealing, we want to hear from you.
An RT would mean a lot!
