In the last week: - PHP2Shell nearly broke the internet (70% affected) - Hackers tried to boil French blood-bank plasma - Binance drained for $6.3B (biggest crypto heist ever) - Democrats swept the midterms and took Congress - AI stocks got obliterated - Nasdaq -5% in hours - Major wars including Russia/Ukraine, Iran/USA - NYSE clearly supports Hyperliquid A lot of men are feeling hopeless right now, but we saw it coming a mile away and prepared. The good news is that it's not yet too late to escape the matrix and there's a discount on $HYPE - quants know.

Texas won't torpedo its datacenter industry, but it will introduce some delays while it works through finalizing legislation to make datacenters more palatable for its residents. This would mostly affect capacity scheduled to come online in 2028 versus 2027. In the meantime, because datacenter location is fungible to a degree, CSPs and neoclouds can pivot to other regions with less opposition / permitting delays. This could push out maybe 5-10% of total 2028 datacenter capacity scheduled to come online in 2028 by 2-3 quarters, which is hardly catastrophic. Now, if Anthropic and OpenAI keep up with their braindead messaging of AI will take all your jobs, hack all of your bank accounts, and eventually send a T-1000 to your house to kill your entire family, then yeah we might see more widespread pushback and a catastrophic slowdown. Hopefully they aren't that stupid.
