January '98. WCW: Sting won the battle, but nWo wins the war, as WCW becomes WCW/nWo. How will WCW fare? WWE: Bret defeats Shawn once again, with Michaels suffering a career ending injury, falling from the top of the cage. Whose attitude will take them to the top? #2KMNW98

As the Rumble boiled down to 4 competitors, Austin made it 3. Mankind then threw Shamrock out, leaving himself & Austin. Austin then eventually managed to take Mankind out, as he wins the Rumble and moves on to Wrestlemania. Will Bret manage to hold onto the title until then?

On this past week's Raw, The Nation turned on Crush, kicking him from the group. They then set Johnson upon him tonight, with Johnson coming out victorious. Ahmed has started to fit in now, as they continue to dominate. #2KMNW

...he then took a dive from the top of the cage, but Bret moved out of the way. Michaels crashed down on the mat, before Hart locked in the Sharpshooter. Michaels screamed in pain, quickly giving up, as he appeared to suffer a back injury. Bret remains the WWE Champion.
