What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld

Queen Aminata almost walked away from pro wrestling.
Then she found photos on her late father’s phone that gave her a reason to reconsider.
Before the TBS Championship came a deeply personal decision to keep going.

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Yep. Watching movies? Easy. Writing pages? Not a problem. Reading scripts? Like pulling teeth. IMHO, it's *the* most important part of learning the craft. We write screenplays. Doesn't it make sense we should *STUDY* screenplays? Movie scripts, Black List scripts. Read 'em!
Replying to @GoIntoTheStory
I’m betting getting people to read scripts is the tough part of teaching it.

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."
Abdul El-Sayed, Democratic Senate candidate, lashes out at Trump
“We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. And I mean, Donald Trump is an idiot.
Whatever you think about him, he has one genius, which is the genius of getting attention, because his dad never gave him enough.
Because he was a nepo baby, because he had resources, he realized quickly that he just craved attention and then used the bullying tactics that he uses right now to get it.
But the man is an idiot. I mean, just when it comes down to it, just a fool.”
Earlier, Trump called El-Sayed a “jihadist.”

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.
