I’m an opera singer and you’re both right and wrong. Yes, at a lot of the major opera houses the tickets can be expensive for mere nosebleeds. Some opera houses are better for accessibility than others. But they’re not all elitist.

Democrats want to brand this as “Trump’s America” because it’s easier than reckoning with their own party’s complicity in the militarization of police and the increased funding for DHS and ICE over the years. It’s not a “Trump” problem, it’s a bipartisan affair.
The visceral response to this man getting permanently blinded by our government is one of many reasons I can never transition lol

I will be blind for life. I have fractures in my skull that they can't fix. I can't sneeze or cough because it's dangerous to. They pulled a piece of plastic the size of a nickel out of my eye. I had shards of metal, glass, and plastic behind my eye and in my skull. They said it was a miracle I survived.
Kind of horrifying how a person can be permanently blinded in one eye by our government and people’s response boils down to: “They deserve it and probably should’ve gotten worse. Also trans people are subhuman and more of them should get harmed like this.”

I think it’s time for libs to understand and accept that these types of communists don’t believe in elections point blank. They want a total dissolution of the U.S. and you can’t get that through electoral politics. Every candidate is a cog, esp ones that seem to be on their side
