Oh my gosh. @CroftSpeaks and I just interviewed @brokeblackgirl_ for the podcast. It was A. HOOT. She's an incredible activist and community builder giving financial advice for black women - you should follow her. The pod'll be out later this week.

Emmanuel came to our Assembly a couple of years ago and gave a wonderful talk about this very art project. Go see his work at the library!

The Daily Drum Todays drum is from my “Round Dance” Series. The Round Dance Drum is more important now than ever. The dancers join hands to form a large circle, symbolically indicating the equality of all people in the world. Together we are stronger. Have a Great Week-end!

40 years ago today, at St. John's harbour, a young man started a movement in our country that has inspired hope for millions. Today is the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope. In times like these, let us remember what hope can accomplish. Thank you Terry.

Parents and Teachers - you don’t have to have it all figured out. Give yourself a lot of grace. Focus on the things you can control and model that for the kids. #TpTEdChat

We know children and students have questions about COVID-19. It can be a scary time for them. Here's Dr. Strang answering some of the more common questions that children and students may have. youtu.be/DXusFwpUbxE

Dr Strang says if you know someone who is or should be self-isolating, ask them “how can I help? What can I do so you can keep the rest of us safe?” #HelpOften #COVIDー19

Things are pretty heavy right now, so I'm finding joy where I can. My #SocialDistance cycles have turned out to be a great way to connect with others! My partner and I have been riding together more often than usual, and we've encountered friends and family out for walks.
