SAIL declares financial results for H1 FY’27: delivers strong financial performance. The state-owned Maharatna, @SAILsteel , today announced its financial results for the half year ended 30th September 2026 (H1 FY’27), showcasing resilient performance and improved profitability.
As part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week Campaign, SAIL organised a one-day training programme on “Tender Processing, Procurement and Contract Management” at the MTI, Ranchi on 22 October 2026. The programme was jointly developed by CMMG and Corporate Vigilance, SAIL.
Shri Dilip Kumar, CVO, SAIL, underscored the importance of extending the benefits of the initiative across the organisation through regular training and knowledge dissemination at individual plants.
The Programme on Emotional Intelligence (EI) was organised for Executives by MTI at Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 9th October 2026. 29 Participants attended the programme. The programme aims to provide necessary knowledge and skills to the participants.
EI Questionnaire was administered for getting insights for enhancing the EI skills. In-class exercise and quiz were conducted to reinforce the necessity of exhibiting higher EI. Shri Saurabh Varshney, GM (HR-L&D), BSP chaired the inaugural and the valedictory sessions.
A LEO workshop on ‘My Area My Responsibility & Line of Fire’ was organised by SSO, Ranchi at MTI during 6–7 Oct’26 for 38 participants from plants & units, which was steered by Mr RK Muduli, CGM(NPM & Digitalization), RSP and various best practices & technology tools were shared.
Vigilance Department RBU, SAIL organised a Sit, Draw & Paint Competition on 03.10.2026 for Employee Awardees and their Spouses. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 80 participants, celebrating talent, imagination and togetherness.

A 'Shramdaan' program was organized at MTI), SAIL, Ranchi under the leadership of Shri Sanjay Dhar, ED(HR-L&D) & Safety, SAIL. At the outset, Shri Dhar inspired the collective about the importance of cleanliness and the need to maintain a clean and healthy workplace.
As part of #SwachhataHiSeva 6.0–2026, a SafaiAbhiyan was organised at IEH, SAIL Satellite Township, Ranchi today under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat.”
The programme began with the Swachhata Pledge, in the presence of Shri S. Subbaraj, ED, CET.
It was followed by a cleanliness drive at IEH, SAIL Satellite Township and surrounding premises. SafaiMitras/Sanitation Workers were felicitated for their valuable contribution towards cleanliness and hygiene.
