Yesterday was another huge day for our #MedievalTimes Theme Week: -Costume Competition -Bible printing press -Finishing off catapults -Medieval feast -Intro to maypole -Importance of clan shields -Medieval Games Practice….guess what’s coming today! 😏

Two days into #ThemeWeek & we’re loving #MedievalTimes Canterbury Tales, Castle structures, Golden Compass to Determine if students are Nobility or Serfs, Building Catapults, studied origins of the black plague, the crusades, plays & writings, and origin of numerical numbers!

We’re thankful that the Lord gave our 8th graders an awesome DC experience, and we’re so thankful to have them back home! Rest up on the long weekend, and we’ll see everyone on Tuesday! #GoSaders

Yesterday was a BIG day for our 8th graders in DC! Arlington Cemetery, The National Museum of African American History, Washington Monument, MLK, Natural History Museum, The Capital, Supreme Court, and even a little bowling! Think they slept well last night? 😴💯

No better way to end day 2 in DC than with Georgetown Cupcakes! 🧁

8th grade hit the ground running in DC yesterday, making stops at the Army Museum, Jefferson and FDR Memorials, and even squeezed in some ice skating! ⛸❄️

Aaaaand they’re off! Pray for our 8th graders as they take on DC this week! 🙏🏼

🗣 8TH GRADE PARENTS: Don’t forget about the DC meeting tomorrow at 2:00 in the Wilson Center! Our 8th graders are so excited, we even practiced our group shots today! 📸
