Some of you guys in Toronto have asked if you can come say hi while I'm there for the Dr Shabir Ally debate (November 9th - 11th).
Sure thing, just email me at [email protected] saying you'd like to say hi and I'll add you to a mailing list. Closer to the date I'll announce through email where I'll be and when.
Feel free to bring your copy of the Islamic Dilemma and I'll sign it for you.

🚨THE ISLAMIC DILEMMA: WHEN A MUSLIM APPEALS TO A SCHOLAR WHO ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE PROBLEM
Debate Review: Chris Frost (@SCApologia vs. Irani (@IraniRoxanna)- Sképsislamica Debate. BTW, I'll be putting up multiple review threads; this was no different from the typical "Islam is always right" circular attempt to resolve the contradictions.
💥THE 9:111 problem :
A little background first.
During their discussion of the Islamic Dilemma, Chris raised a problem with Quran 9:111.
🚨Allah promises Paradise to believers who fight, kill, and are killed in His cause. But here's the catch: Allah claims this promise is also found in the Torah and Gospel.
👉Chris challenged Irani to show where the Gospel makes that promise.
Irani responded by appealing to Christian martyrdom, biblical passages, late-antique religious traditions, and historical-critical scholarship. She even invoked Nicolai Sinai to support her explanation.
Well, I checked Sinai. And that's where things get interesting.

This is my take on why the endless online controversy around the meaning of “muhaymin” in verse 5:48 is actually a red herring.
A view that @SCApologia and I came to a point of consensus on, from slightly different angles.

Is this ChatGPT post about hitting your wife, threatening women in arabic, or the whole Morocco thing?
Probably important to qualify.
It is a tale as old as time.
A person rises, gains recognition, and dedicates himself to doing good. And almost inevitably, from the shadows emerge those whose diseased hearts cannot bear to witness the success of another.
They will lie, distort, slander, and manufacture scandals. Not necessarily because they believe what they say, but because another man’s success has become an unbearable reminder of their own insignificance.
But understand something.
Not every accusation deserves a defence. Not every barking voice deserves an answer. And not every enemy deserves the dignity of being acknowledged.
The Shayatin al-Ins (devils among mankind) are not always seeking to destroy your reputation. Sometimes, their greatest ambition is simply to drag you into their world, to make you abandon your purpose long enough to acknowledge their existence.
For some people, even your anger is a privilege. Even your response is a victory. Even your contempt is a form of recognition.
And there is something profoundly humiliating about desperately seeking the attention of someone who refuses to acknowledge you.
So let them speak. Let them exhaust themselves. Let them spend their days consumed by a person who scarcely spares them a thought.
You have work to do. They have an obsession to maintain.
And while they hunger for a reaction, you will give them the one thing their egos cannot endure:
Irrelevance.
You will starve them of the attention they so desperately crave.
Every.
Single.
Time.
My apologies - I just saw the latest drop.

It's about Da'ee's sharing each others explicit nudes online. Because of course it is.
In hindsight, I should have assumed.

Dear the @BBC
Your biggest problem isn’t a lack of funding. It’s the assumption that funding should be compulsory.
If you truly provide a genuinely valuable service, you should be able to make the case for people to support you voluntarily.
Extending the licence fee to cover Netflix, YouTube and Amazon would surely be an admission that the current model cannot compete on its own merits.
Why should the British people who have deliberately chosen not to watch traditional TV be forced to subsidise an organisation they don’t use?
Public service broadcasting has a place, but that doesn’t give any organisation an automatic right to take money from the public.
Earn the audience. Earn the funding. Don’t legislate your way out of irrelevance.
Sink or swim on your own merits.

The Qur'an confirms the Gospel. But that Gospel, the one Christians actually held, teaches what Islam denies.

A message I recieved:
"No need to respond brother; I simply wanted to thank you for your work at Speaker’s Corner, your many livestreams, your courage to stand up for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters, and for your idea of Masculine Christianity that has restored and fortified my confidence as a man. Finding your videos by chance reawakened me as a Christian, and has completely brought me back to my faith. Since then, I have sought to educate myself on the Sacred Scripture, Christian history, church doctrine via the Catechism, and apologetics and polemics. Never before have I felt so confident in what we believe, and for that, I couldn’t thank you enough, brother. Peace be with you."
A lot of the fruit of the work of my ministry is building up the Church!

Islamic culture has a pervasive racism problem.
Worse in the rank-and-file, but even Islamic apologists, those who get paid to defend it, have joined in.
An unspiritual religion produces bad fruit.
Too many Muslims mock God's creation.
Oh really? That's not what my book sales are saying.

No one has been able to address the book. The Dawah bros are running and hoping it goes away.
I show how spamming "general confirmation" doesn't help and how "conscious edits" are in error and can be shown to be false.
The Dawah bros have abandoned trying to solve the dilemma.
