See the circled truck? That’s Ladder 118 headed for the World Trade Center.
The truck was full of heroes, Firefighters Vernon Cherry, Leon Smith, Joey Agnello, Robert Regan, Pete Vega, and Scott Davidson.
This image showcases their final run, as they raced to the Twin Towers to begin emergency operations.
None of the men listed above made it home that day.
This image showcases their final moments in life.
They perished inside the towers, saving countless lives in the process.
Never forget the heroes from that horrible morning in September, 2001.
