This past weekend was the end of the fall season for Rhino 16U ILL. We have a lot to be proud of and a lot of room to grow. I finished the season batting .400 with an obp of .438, 13 singles and 5 doubles. Looking forward to winter training.

It was an exciting weekend at the Easton Elite Fall Showcase. Offensively I hit .600 with 5 doubles and made some great plays on defense. @kaylaholm_18 love where I flipped to you from SS!

Youth sports went completely insane at some point over the past several years. Parents spending thousands of dollars, devoting multiple days a week, traveling all around, all so their kid can obsessively play a particular sport and then graduate high school and never play it again. I actually think the “everybody’s a winner, the score doesn't matter” approach was preferable to this. Bring back the participation trophies if this is the alternative.

Meet people as far as they meet you.
Speak to them as much as they speak to you.
Include them as much as they include you.
Never confuse the people who are around you with the people that are truly there for you.

Every parent in youth sports needs to hear this. It’s not a kid problem. It’s an adult one.
