Porter Square Books opens new location, this time in the Seaport… bostonglobe.com/2021/10/04/l… @MarkAShanahan @PorterSqBooks @GrubWriters

Have *never* seen Seaport more jammed and active than last night.
The central hub of activity was Parcel D, now Cisco beer garden and Tuscan Kitchen's large patio.
In 2017, BPDA permitted a future office tower on Parcel D, while compromising parks elsewhere at Seaport Square.
Looking forward to @BostLyricOpera performance starting shortly on the @HelloGreenway in #boston

Any chance we can get the fountains in front of the #mafallenheroesmemorial in #bostonseaport going again? It was a great spot for families and dogs to cool off and the temperatures are climbing. @WSDevelopment @seaportbos @SeaportDistrict how do we get this moving?

Disappointing: Showplace ICON Theater in Seaport officially closes for good. Hopefully the space will be taken over by another theater operator or better yet become a live theater/performing arts venue! caughtinsouthie.com/news-pol…

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s words remind us that darkness cannot drive out darkness and hate cannot drive out hate — only light and love can. As we seek to overcome this season of darkness in America, let us choose love and light and begin to heal — together. #MLKDay

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our Patron and friend Sir Robert Cohan CBE. Bob was a towering figure in the world of contemporary dance and a wonderful supporter of our School, staff and students. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
Was walking through Seaport and saw the holiday trees today which prompted this thought: If any neighbors were to buy potted trees which they’d subsequently like to donate to wormwood park, would that be welcomed? Also would the tree(s) take root? @wormwoodfriends @FPNA_Boston
Thank you @marty_walsh and @BostonParksDept for bringing the drive-in movies to the city! A real treat for the family!

Although we are living through challenging times now, I have hope for the future. It is a time to reflect and recognize what is truly important in life. May we come out of this as better global citizens than… instagram.com/p/CAB3TQJgvQp/…
