@wtf1official @BackOfTheGridF1 @wearetherace, hear me out:
-remove 1s trigger for DRS
-make DRS a use limited tool
(lapsXzones) X .75 = no. of DRS uses.
Ex.Saudi: 50 laps X 3 zones=150 poss uses. 75% of 150=113.
Drivers can deploy at will for offense or defense.

Have to shout out STs Coordinator Danny Crossman and the #Steelers for this perfect "fire drill" to close out the half yesterday.
So many moving pieces: units switching, players reporting eligible, getting aligned, a clean operation. A+.

Speaking about congressional term limits, former U.S. House member Rep. Beto O’Rourke warned that the longer lawmakers remain in office, the more disconnected they can become from the people they represent.
Term limits could help keep Congress accountable to the people it serves.
Repost if you agree.

ALT The image features a person in a suit and tie smiling. A quote attributed to Beto O'Rourke is displayed: "The longer you are in office, the less connected you are to the people you represent, the less accountable, the less responsive." The logo for U.S. Term Limits (USTL) is present in the lower right corner.

🇿🇦 In South Africa, a father kills three carjackers in a shootout while protecting his children
He and his two children were leaving their yard when a white vehicle blocked them.
One attacker held a gun to the son’s head at the gate while another opened fire.
The father returned fire from the car, killing one on the spot. The other two fled but later died of their wounds.

The NFL sending teams and fans to Paris is incredibly irresponsible. And they should still move the game now. Roger Goodell is doubling down on a bad decision.

Metallica frontman James Hetfield took a swipe at artists who use their concerts to lecture audiences about politics during the band's Las Vegas residency.
In what could easily be seen as a dig at the likes of Macklemore, Hetfield told the crowd:
"Unless you live in Vegas, you've come a long way to spend some time with Metallica. We're grateful for that. Your travels, the money you spend, the time it took, thanks for coming to celebrate with us.
And I just gotta say, Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullshit. We are here to forget about all the outside shit. Metallica's agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby!"
Hetfield has rarely spoken openly about his politics, but past interviews suggest he holds many conservative values.
On Joe Rogan's podcast in 2016, he explained how he'd moved his family away from the San Francisco Bay Area, having grown tired of what he saw as its political intolerance and elitism.
As a Metallica fan, this is incredibly based! 🤘

F1 just aired footage that no camera ever filmed.
The shot follows the Red Bull down the pit lane, swings around the crew during the stop, and ends up directly above Max's helmet. That last angle is the car's own onboard camera. So somewhere in that move, a trackside camera became an onboard camera with no cut in between, and the only way to pull that off is to generate the views no lens ever occupied. A computer built those frames out of the footage around them.
Hollywood figured this out in 1999. For the bullet time shot in The Matrix, the crew bolted around 120 cameras in a ring around Keanu and fired them off in sequence to fake one impossible camera move. Months of planning for a single scene, and it won them the visual effects Oscar.
Nobody planned this pit stop for a camera. Max boxed on lap 33 of a live race, got his tires, and the replay came out looking like someone flew a ghost camera through the whole thing.
The audio gives it away too. Computer-built frames don't have microphones attached, so the replay runs on ambient feed sound and you hear the broadcast booth murmuring instead of an engine.
And this was a routine pit stop. Wait until they start doing overtakes like this.

Best argument for term limits I’ve ever heard. “I can’t do my constitutional role of protecting the country because I am afraid I might lose a seat where my job is to protect the country.”
It’s kinda disgusting. You swore an oath for God’s sake.
"In his book, Tillis writes that at least 30 Republican senators have expressed reservations about many of Mr. Trump's actions, but usually are only willing to speak up privately, fearing that if POTUS decides to target them, their days will be numbered"
