Feminist and social reformer Josephine Butler was born #onthisday in 1828. Considered one of the first feminist activists in British history, she was born into a wealthy, Christian family with liberal values, and both of her parents were staunch abolitionists.

Looking forward to talking about KickStart and how @Street_League will be working to ensure young people & employers benefit and get the support needed.
I’ll be joined by Mercy, one of our recent graduates, and total superstar, who hopes to get experience in a creative industry.
Tonight on @TimesRadio:
16-24’s: you can apply for six-months of employment, in your field (or close) & it’s free for the employer
Employers: a placement, paid by government
#Kickstart creates jobs and gets young people working.
So why aren’t enough people talking about it?
