I also read the Wright/Wood trade as being that Schaefer coming in yesterday and scoring and playing PK allowed them CMac to give up Wood’s size for Wright’s skill. #Preds I predicted before the season that Schaefer will have a breakout year this season.

In Shane Wright I see Ryan O’Reilly’s understudy and eventual replacement. Wright needed a change of scenery and with the right opportunity I can see him blossoming in Nashville. Losing Wood stings, but I think this was a fair deal and chance worth taking for CMac.

#Titans are at the bottom. I’m going to everyone in that room and asking them if they want to be there or if they’d like to get traded. Those that have any value, trade. Those who don’t release. Get in there guys that want to be a part of the future and will fight to prove it.

The #Titans defense can certainly improve. But it’s the offense that is completely killing them!

Didn’t the Titans get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct doing the same thing Nico Collin’s just did?

Self-inflicted wound No. 4 on that penalty. #Titans

Stadium is just gonna be emptier and emptier for the Titans until they can move the ball offensively for four quarters. I’d take one at this point!

Self-inflicted wound No. 2 #Titans

Self-inflicted wound No. 1 #Titans

#Preds going 1-0-2 on the road trip through Eastern Canada is a good trip. Picking up points early in the season comes in handy at the end of the year when you are scratching to get in the playoffs.

Marchessault’s goal was that of a goal scorer. He knew exactly what he was doing when he passed the puck off to Stamkos. Watch as he repositioned his feet and opened up to receive and shoot the puck in one motion.

That’s exactly the game that he showed on tape from the KHL and what he was showing early in training camp this season. Pinachuk is legit NHL talent.

Real question is will Lybushkin play or is he still relegated to Siberia.

Yes, Pinachuk has stated that and MacFarland confirmed on the radio that Pinachuk would play in Saturday’s game then be recalled to Nashville.

A humbling experience for both players.

Not surprised at all by the Jost signing. Was drafted under CMac in Colorado 10th overall, NHL vet. Able to play up and down lineup and PK. Good locker room guy. Played well in preseason. Solid option as 14th forward. #Preds

Cam still needs to make the throws at the end, but can’t discount game management mistakes there.

If the Titans punted at the end of the first half, they would’ve kept the Giants from scoring (-3), if they kick the FG instead of going for it that’s +3, then they could’ve kicked it to take a 2 point lead as the D was holding up.
