If you’re curious how exactly to opt out on IOS (since it hasn’t been released on iOS yet) you have to sign in through the web browser app & turn it off there, I do warn the screen isn’t optimised for the phone, fortunately if you rotate your screen it should be fine
Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.”
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.
You will have to temporarily delete your discord app due to the fact that if you try to log on without getting rid of the app itself, it will kick you back onto the app (I’ve also tried the desktop website method, didn’t work all too well & was still kicked back onto the app)..
