MastuhSplinter went on a gift spree during and right after the #SeeEx event, sending thousands of subs to several Kick streamers. Now he has charged it all back. I'll be fine, but this type of thing absolutely destroys some creators. The unfortunate part is because it's subs, paid through Stripe Express, we have no recourse. The refunds show minimal information and no way to fight it. In a typical direct chargeback, we would be able to submit evidence, and even get the name, address, and contact info of the individual who initiated the chargebacks. Ultimately the banks will probably side with the individual, but I hope Kick at least tries to fight these on our behalf.
