Horns of a Dilemma: Why Trump is Damned if he Does, Damned if he Doesn't ('Take Out Iran') xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1aKbddQNr…
At LAST.
Now, what will Israel do?
"If our four countries sit together, many of the regions problem can be solved. This trip would be the beginning of a real transformation in the region."

Did Iran just join the Mecca Defense Pact?
Imagine the suspicion and fear today in the Israeli govt. over yesterday's meeting between Saudi, Turkey, Pakistan and Iran.
That's not the way the Mecca Defense Pact was meant to work. It was meant to be Saudi, Turkey and Pakistan "ganging up" on Iran, directly or indirectly supporting Israel's Iran policy.
It was not meant to be a covert way for those 3 nations to ALIGN with Iran as a block against Israeli attempts at regional hegemony (if that's what's happening).
Even worse, Israel is slowly realizing that its insistence on a US war on Iran to achieve that hegemony has forced Trump to begin disengaging from the region, clearing the way for just this kind of anti-Israel pact, seen by its signatories as a political/security necessity to replace US influence in the region.
And the timing of the meeting - the day before Israelis go to the polls - was probably not coincidental.
These developments are undoubtedly viewed by Israel as a direct threat to not only its long-desired regional hegemony, but to its 'very existence' (that said, when your existence is predicated on dominating everyone else, most things 'threaten your existence').
So what does Israel do now? Most likely it will try to "finish the job" in Iran, expecting that it can still rely on (coerce?) Trump into taking part. But that could be a risky best.
Despite Trump's statements, there's likely no love lost between him and Bibi, and there's no reason to think that Tom Barack's recent statements about the Middle East needing to 'go it alone' from now on excluded Israel.
But Israeli social and political DNA is incompatible with real co-habitation with, and respect for, its Middle Eastern neighbors, because Israel's real origin story (not the fabricated 3,000 yr old one) centers on domination not cooperation.
Trump needs to ditch Israel so that a new 'MAGA-aligned' order in the Middle East can emerge. The entire world needs it. But Israel needs to re-start the war with Iran to prevent that new Middle East from emerging. It seems to be their only option. And they need the US involved. How they go about ensuring that remains open (Israeli false flag in the US?).
Nevertheless, these dynamics present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Israel could be encouraged to think the US would fully support it in a new attack on Iran, only for the US to prove somewhat lack-luster when push came to shove.
Iran would then be free to focus its response almost entirely on Israel, rather than blowing up Gulf State energy infrastructure and throwing the world into an economic crisis of biblical proportions.
And if Iran is a 'secret signatory' to the Mecca Defense Pact, the other parties could, in theory, help Iran out in various ways in its response to Israel.
Of course, Israel would not 'go quietly', and in this scenario - which it would view as 'existential' - we may all find ourselves in a situation where, rather than Iran blowing up gulf state infrastructure, Israel does it in a last desperate attempt to forestall a new emerging reality that excludes Israel as the regional hegemon.

For those who decided to invent some bizarre new authoritarian law-and-order rule today to justify Moraes' ban on Bolsonaro leaving the country -- that if you're under investigation (without even being charged), it's normal to have your passport seized -- please note:
Lula's son is engulfed in several major financial scandals and investigations relating to lobbyist corruption. His passport has never been seized or cancelled. In fact, he left Brazil to go live in extreme luxury in Spain (in the same neighborhood where several of the world's highest-paid soccer players live), where nobody can explain the source of what appears to be his great wealth.
Countless rich and powerful people in Brazil, including Lula's allies, are under investigation yet freely leave the country when they want: jetting off to Dubai, France, wherever. Truly bizarre how some on the left start fabricating extremist police powers when it suits them.
Brazilian authorities and media are trying to find out where Flavio Bolsonaro is.
Brazil's notorious authoritarian Judge Alexandre de Moraes -- before the votes were counted -- already had an order prepared to seize Bolsonaro's passports and bar him from leaving the country even though **he's been charged with no crime** (there are various pending financial investigations). Moraes signed the order barring Bolsonaro from leaving Brazil SEVEN MINUTES after Lula was declared the winner on Sunday night.
A media outlet in Argentina this morning reported that Bolsonaro entered Argentina to fly to the US. His friends and allies deny this, but Flavio could easily just appear in Brazil or even by video and has not done so. Argentina is being sketchy, evasive and somewhat uncooperative with Brazil's federal police (Lula and Milei are obviously not allies).
Whatever else is true, it is not exactly a sign of a healthy, normal or functioning democracy when the candidate who narrowly loses a presidential race -- and concedes defeat -- is suddenly barred from leaving the country by a Supreme Court Judge now globally notorious for censoring, imprisoning and otherwise persecuting his critics and opponents of Lula's government. It is also worth noting that Bolsonaro's party dominates the Senate, having run on a vow to impeach Moraes, and this is seen by many as a kind of leverage/hostage ploy by Moraes to cling to power.

Does anyone remember when the director of the CIA flew to Brazil with 50+ CIA homies and told the president of a foreign nation that he wasn’t allowed to question the new voting machine being installed all threw out his country?
Soros money propped up Lula after Brazil banned foreign campaign funds.
The family foundation poured $31.3 million into Brazilian groups in 2023, 50% more than the year before.
George set the tone when he called Lula’s election crucial, said he would need strong international support, and praised how he handled the January 8 riots.
After that Alex became one of Lula’s loudest foreign cheerleaders.
In August 2025, Alex flew to Brasília to meet finance minister Fernando Haddad and left wing lawmakers, calling it a unique progressive model for democracy.
When Bolsonaro faced trial, Alex told Folha that Trump’s pressure was making Lula more popular and asked what there was to negotiate besides Bolsonaro and his release.
Grants fund drug legalization, decriminalizing abortion, cutting incarceration, and climate groups like Instituto Clima e Sociedade.
In April 2026, Alex sat with Lula and Spain’s Pedro Sánchez at a left wing event in Barcelona. Praise, access, and cash replace the direct money the law forbids.
Lula packed Brazil’s Supreme Court with his own lawyer and justice minister and had them lock his rival up for 27 years.
Back in 2023, after taking power, he named Cristiano Zanin and Flávio Dino to the court. In 2025 both voted to convict Jair Bolsonaro of a coup plot and hand him the sentence.
That court had previously wiped Lula’s own corruption convictions in 2021 so he could run again.
On election day, Zanin ordered the polls kept open another 2 hours, 3 minutes before they were supposed to close. Both sides had asked, but the call came from Lula’s former defense lawyer.
Even after Bolsonaro was barred and jailed, Lula still trailed Flávio 45–47 in the first round and only scraped past him by under 4 points in the runoff.
Flávio still refuses to concede. Lula called the win a defeat for denialism and lies.
Two of the judges who put his rival away were the men he put on the court. Voters barely picked him. The court cleared the path.

🇧🇷 While the left celebrates their win for "democracy," Brazilian journalists are calling BS...
Malu Gaspar says ALL Superior Electoral Court ministers were AGAINST extending the voting in Brazil by 2 hrs.
Lula was granted his unprecedented request by a judge who "coincidentally" was his fmr. personal attorney...
As others have said, this would be like SCOTUS ordering polls to reopen only in Democratic strongholds...
Everyone with a brain knows this is crooked as hell!!!

Former Venezuelan presidential candidate Alejandro Peña Esclusa is right. It is impossible for the right to have won the parliamentary elections 20 days ago so convingly and for Lula to have won yesterday with four million votes. As my friend Alejandro says, this was a coup.

So you're telling me Flavio Bolsonaro went from winning the first round of the elections by a healthy margin, having 80-90% odds of winning the second round, to losing and having his passport confiscated
And you wanna convince me Brazil is a democracy?

If, by the way, the same situation that just happened in Brazil had happened but with the parties switched -- if Bolsonaro had won last night's election and then a pro-Bolsonaro judge sent the Federal Police to seize Lula's passport and bar him from leaving the country -- every major western media outlet and liberal NGOs would be screaming about the authoritarian attack on Brazil's elections and the destruction of basic freedoms.
>be Lula
