The 2026 Students Supporting Israel National Conference has come to a close, grounded in this year’s theme: ‘Onward: Built For Such A Time As This.’ 🇮🇱
On October 7th, SSI at UGA honored the victims of the Nova Music Festival massacre and the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. In collaboration with YAF at UGA, we came together to remember the lives lost and educate students about the events of that day.

Israeli veteran Boris Shtonda just completed the Kona IRONMAN World Championship on October 10, 2026, almost three years after losing his leg fighting in Gaza following October 7.
Competing with a prosthetic leg, Boris completed one of the world’s toughest endurance races in 16 hours and 33 minutes.
Congratulations, Boris, on this incredible achievement and a powerful example of resilience! 🇮🇱

In Arkansas, we make no apology for standing with Israel.
We lift up the voices that matter: the victims, the people of Israel, and those who stood beside them through some of their darkest days.
Glad to have my dad @GovMikeHuckabee back home to mark this solemn day.
No sugarcoating. No holding back. Greg Gutfeld on October 7th, Hamas, and Israel’s right to defend itself.
October 7, 2023 cannot be erased or forgotten.
The fact that so many students we spoke to didn’t know what happened that day makes SSI’s role more important than ever to educate and raise awareness of what happened in a world of misinformation on social media.
“SSI is amazing because it’s core belief is it’s students supporting Israel.. Creating an environment like this makes this melting pot between religions, between cultures, that you don’t really see on many other campuses.” ~ Colton, Founder and President of SSI at the University of West Florida

WE. ARE. SSI. 🇮🇱
Universities are allowing campus clubs to hold events glorifying October 7 on October 7 itself. A day marking the murder and kidnapping of civilians should not be treated as a day to celebrate terrorism. Universities must draw the line.
Imagine running a university where praising October 7th, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust, is now an acceptable “campus event.”
Not criticism of Israel. Not a debate about policy.
Praising a terrorist attack that murdered, raped and kidnapped civilians.
Since when did glorifying terrorism become something universities are willing to tolerate on their campuses?
We call on universities to stop the spread of support for terrorism on campus.
