SIUE comes to Nashville Saturday after beating D3 Concordia 85-61 last night. The Cougars were picked to finish tied for 3rd in the OVC, behind SEMO and TSU. Bisons were much better at home vs away last year, we’ll see if that continues in the home opener

Bisons struggle to take care of the ball and defend the 3 in the second half. Final 79-86. Bisons with a chance to split the season series December 19 at home
Halftime Bisons lead 42-40. Shooting well and getting out in transition. Need to be better on the glass, should be a good finish. TK has player of the year potential
Last media timeout before the half, if you like the 3 ball this is the game for you. All tied up at 34 with a combined 10 3’s already
7-4 Bisons at the first media timeout, slow start for both teams. @SEMOMBB you had 8 months to prepare for opening day and couldn’t find anyone to call the game?

Sounds like it was a positive day for Lipscomb, which I’m told won three of the four 12-minute segments against Southern Indiana in today’s secret scrimmage.
The cumulative score favored Southern Indiana 95-94, but the score was reset every 12 minutes.

Lipscomb has landed Oregon transfer Takai Simpkins, who started all 31 games last season and averaged 12.5 points per game on 42.6% shooting.
Simpkins a five-for-five guy that isn't guaranteed to be eligible, but is an ASUN Player of The Year candidate if he plays.
