What an incredible turn around, from starting the year 5-10 to winning the Hockey East Championship and earning their 4th D1 tournament appearance.
A big congratulations to coach Borek his staff and all the players couldn’t think of a more deserving group
Merrimack Football gets the homecoming win 17-10 over New Heaven. Like usual the defense shut New Heaven down and the offense controlled the tempo with the run game. It did get a little dicey near the end but they came away with the W following a late New Haven turnover.
Happy to see the annual Umass Lowell game back on the schedule after not taking place last year

It’s been a long time coming awesome to finally see Merrimack‘s name under that banner
The Merrimack Warriors have a banner hanging in the rafters at TD Garden after winning the 2026 Hockey East Championship, and there won’t be a day that goes by that we forget it. We don’t want you to forget it either.
Every time you visit @tdgarden, take a picture of the Merrimack banner like head coach Scott Borek did, and tag @MC_Athletics with the hashtag #MackInTheRafters.
Every time you do, you will be entered to win a prize. There are no limits on the amount of entries you can submit.

Big news today for Merrimack basketball losing their top two scorers Ernest Shelton and Kevair Kennedy.
That’s just how the sport is these days. The good thing is that this coaching staff has done a great job rebuilding the roster year after year despite outgoing transfers.
