New business collaboration Jasmy & @appbank まず、長く協議をしてきましたが、AppBank社とMOUが発表できることを嬉しく思います。 出会いは、上場企業である同社の大株主であるクオンタムリープ社からの紹介でした。もちろん、同社は故出井氏が創業したファンドであることは周知の事実ですが、同社が投資し、グループ全体として支援を行ってきているAppBank社は経験豊富な役員陣、ブロックチェーン事業に明るいメンバーに恵まれた企業です。 今回の提携は「AIに何ができるか」よりも、「個人データを誰が管理するのか」に軸を置いている点を評価しています。 生成AIを生活や資産管理に深く取り入れるほど、収入、支出、保有資産、購買履歴といった重要な情報をAIに渡す必要が出てきます。そこでPDLを使い、本人がデータの利用範囲や第三者提供を管理するという発想には、一定の合理性があります。便利さのためにデータの管理権まで手放す必要はない、という方向性には共感します。 第一弾として構想されている「Money Twin」も、考え方自体は興味深いものです。家計簿の延長ではなく、自分の金融状況を継続的に把握し、日々の判断を助ける「生活上のCFO」を目指しているからです。適切に実現できれば、情報の整理にとどまらず、「今月は何に使い過ぎたか」「この契約を見直すべきか」といった具体的な判断を支える存在になり得ます。 After a long period of discussions, I am delighted that we are finally able to announce our MOU with AppBank. Our relationship began through an introduction from Quantum Leaps, a major shareholder of the publicly listed company. Quantum Leaps is, of course, widely known as the investment firm founded by the late Nobuyuki Idei. AppBank, in which Quantum Leaps has invested and which it has supported across the group, benefits from an experienced management team and members with extensive knowledge of the blockchain industry. What I particularly value about this partnership is its focus not simply on what AI can do, but on who should control personal data. The more deeply generative AI becomes integrated into daily life and personal asset management, the more people may need to provide it with sensitive information, including their income, spending, financial assets, and purchase history. Against this backdrop, there is a clear rationale for using PDL to enable individuals to control how their data is used and whether it may be shared with third parties. I strongly support the principle that people should not have to surrender control of their data in exchange for convenience. The concept behind Money Twin, the first initiative envisioned under the partnership, is also compelling. It is designed to go beyond a conventional household budgeting tool by continuously understanding a user’s financial situation and serving as a “CFO for everyday life” that supports day-to-day decision-making. If implemented effectively, it could do more than organize information.
