As SNAP programs are cut nationwide, it truly amazes me how many people are saying some version of "Good. They'll have to get off their asses and work if they want to eat," completely discounting the 11,000,000 people with disabilities on those programs who would absolutely love to be out working, but can't. Needing food assistance does not = laziness. Where is your empathy?
