As a logical human being I think this is probably true. As a Northwestern fan I am now convinced Oregon will somehow solve all their problems in the next 5 days and win 48-7
From what I’ve seen, it would be an upset if Oregon beats Northwestern next weekend

Rough times at Oregon, not even worth a field-storming in Champaign

Ducks apparently no match for Rantoul's Big Ten Team
Hoping this is the first in an 0-2 stretch for Oregon against Illinois-based schools

Really sad to see this. Jason covered the @pdxwinterhawks when I did. Always enjoyed seeing him at games and getting to talk. Condolences to his family and friends.
Veteran journalist and former Portland Tribune reporter and editor Jason Vondersmith passed away of an apparent heart attack on Sunday, Oct. 4, just three days short of his 61st birthday. Read more at the link in our bio.

Covering the Thorns tonight and if you're wondering how it's going Sophia Wilson got a red card for a hair pull and 14th-place Boston is up 2-0 including a shot that was going way wide getting deflected in for an own goal. Thorns headed toward 4th straight winless home game.

This is probably the most I've seen a crowd turn on a referee since the Winterhawks crowd in the 2011 WHL final.

Officiating has been suspect overall, but the red card was legit and a Boston goal the crowd thought was offside was clearly onside

That was an all-time terrible timeout by Montana State

My alma mater blowing Penn State out of an $800 million stadium with Chip Kelly running the wing T is not something I ever thought I was going to see #Northwestern

Colorado players talking trash about Northwestern’s temporary stadium ahead of this evening’s game: “This place f*cking sucks” “Sh*t sounds like a f*cking library.”

Northwestern DESTROYS Colorado 41-7 to improve to 2-0 🟣⚪️ The Wildcats make a statement 👀

They have no support, exiled in a stadium that’s not theirs, haven’t been over .500 in 11 years. I don’t fault the players who are trying to compete, it just doesn’t seem like there’s ever a real foundation for success there.
Too much is being made of Oregon scoring a bunch and not enough is being made of Portland State’s inability to be even the slightest bit competitive. It’s tough to figure out what PSU is trying to accomplish with their program right now.

Wait ... ppl are upset Oregon kept running an offense w/a 4th string QB? What are they supposed to do... just not play anymore. You got these young guys who are itching to see the field. Portland State knew what this game was about.

If there's a separate clock somewhere that's more official than the one we see on TV a lot of people owe soccer an apology
Terry McAulay: "The ball isn't even close to touching a player when it goes to zero... Their Hawk-Eye system apparently had a different sync... I don't see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct... The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero..."
