Made a little trip out to Niland, Slab City/East Jesus and Bombay Beach. It was 100+ out there but it was good to get out of LA for awhile.

I just realized that as of today, March 14th, I have 21yrs sobriety. I NEVER take it for granted.

@DaleJr For the All Star race NASCAR should let all the race teams cheat their cars up however they think it might make the racing better i.e., passing. Every team is going to have their own ideas. Let all the teams mess with the body and under body within reason, 1/3

let them tweak the suspension, if something is within an 1/8 inch, give them a full half inch etc, etc and then every team shows up with their best ideas and let the race be a real time R&D test. If some or all the teams come up with some thing/s that makes the show better 2/3

It's been fairly busy the last couple days but I got to 19yrs sober yesterday 3-14-24. Hopefully I'll make it to 20 next year. I'm not where I want to be but I'm glad for where I'm at.

@EddieTrunk Ozzy didn't see Zak in a club. I was working for Ozzy then handling the bookings for the guitar auditions. I picked Zak up at LAX. In fact, Sharon asked Zak to stay a few days and he didn't have enough clothes. The list was down to a couple/3 guys.

I remember Ozzy walking in to the rehearsal place and taking a look at Zak and gave me a thumbs up like he knew Zak was gonna be the guy.
