*ROAD CLOSURE* - Starting 11/3, through 11/4, Troy Rd will be closed for railroad crossing repairs. The approved detour route will direct drivers from Rye St to Griffin Rd, then to Brookfield St. Residents on Troy Rd will still be able to access their homes during the closure.

Hartford Marathon Road Closures: SWPD would like to remind motorists that on Saturday, 10/10, the Hartford Marathon will be coming through South Windsor. The race route includes the length of Main St up to Strong Rd (1/2).

The roadway will be closed to all traffic from approx. 7:30 am to approx. 1:00 pm. Residents are encouraged to park on Chapel Rd, Pleasant Valley Rd, Newberry Rd, Governors Hwy, and Strong Rd if they plan to leave the area after the race route closes (2/2).
